    1. Hello Jack Forrest,
It is indeed possible to disable the animations when loading a book, and in fact that feature is already planned and in the works. It will be added via a future upgrade.

    1. Hello Mauro,

  2. Is there any to hide/disable the title book name an the upper part on the screen when you are reading a book. I find it a waste of space. And it becomes larger with set the font to a large size. I would find that very annoying, since I like to read in a large font size. Please, fix it! I really like this ereader.

    1. Hello Edwin,
thanks for your message. Yes, you can hide the title of the book. While reading, touch the lower left corner of the screen to bring up the menu. Choose “Layout”. Slide your finger upwards to scroll the list of options, then de-select “Show Header”. The page number at the bottom of the screen can be disactivated in the same way (“Show Pageometer”). Touch any part of the screen outside of the menu to close it and continue reading.

  3. Hello,

This device looks very good and I’m considering buying it.

However, on the videos posted on Youtube I see that the firmware is in French. Can it also be adjusted to English?

Also: I read that currently there is only a French dictionary. When an English dictionary will be available, will it be possible to get it for free simply by a firmware update?

    Thank you!

    1. Hello Nathalie,
yes, the firmware is available in English, of course, as well as 21 other languages. You can choose which language you want from the settings menu.
Other dictionaries will be available via a firmware updates. There is no charge for updates.

I’m enjoying your fantastic ereader but I really miss dictionaries, when are you planning to give this present to your customers? Would it be a Christmas present? 😉
    Thank you, Andrea.

  5. I have just got my new Cybook Odyssey and my first impressions are superb! There are only two cons: 1) The absence of more dictionaries and 2) the absence of one of the most common letters of the Greek alphabet, the ς. I really hope both will soon be considered in a future system update! Thank you! 🙂

    1. Hello Evie,
we’re very glad to know you are appreciating your Cybook Odyssey. 🙂 More dictionaries will be added via a firmware upgrade. As for the absence of the Greek letter, I’m not sure I completely understand, but please send this information (with more details) directly via the contact form on our site, so that it can be corrected!

  6. Hi, great ebook reader! Would it be possible to add the ability to delete book and other files directly in the reader? You can do this in the Kobo Touch and it’s really practical.

  7. I would like to see some video about the zoom with images in the text (tables of definitions), which are usually in books of programning languages, databases…etc

    Thanks
