Got mine a few days ago. My impression so far:
• Nice formfactor, very slim, readability is good despite the touch screen, flipping a page is fast enough.
• Pre-installed free books a bit over the top; I can’t read Italian nor Spanish.
• I’m not impressed with its usability; especially the organisation / structure of books at the device and sorting/browsing them should be improved. Searching for books is not possible, no support for tags, searching for words within a book when reading is impossible.
• Still need to figure out how to register DRM with Adobe. I did RTFM but apparently did something different.
• It was very very difficult to get its MAC-address in order to get it connected in my wlan; why isn’t that just mentioned at the About page
?????????
• internet: is there a way to store bookmarks or have I overlooked something? Or add another ebook-store?
Despite these remarks I’m happy due to its speed, formfactor and readability are

That’s why we deliver our readers with books in several different languages, so that hopefully whatever your native tongue is, you’ll find something that you can start reading right away. Of course, you can simply delete the books you are not interested in and replace them with your own.

I completly agree with Paul, how can we get the Wifi Mac Address of the Orizon ? Without it, I cannot connect to my network.

thank you both for your messages. If your WEP key is 13 digits long, you must add quotes ” before and after the key to activate the connection.

Helllooooo is there anybody in there… I ordered a Cybook Orizon Bookeen on Nov 8th as a Christmas gift for my son. The order is still pending. I can’t see a way to cancel so I can order a different (albeit inferior) Kindle for him instead. USA Order number 1100000156. Many thanks for any help.

I have used the support contact form several times and received no response. Most recently I simply asked to cancel the order, but still the status shows as pending. Any other ideas?

*Edit: I would still like to receive the Bookeen if at all possible, but it is needed for a student whose semester begins January 3rd. If there is no way to receive the product by then, my only choice is to cancel.
